Knowledge and Endurance

Knowledge and Endurance

For the emerging product companies, a great lesson from Quality Guru, Dr Deming – Cease dependence on mass inspection. Loosely translated, don’t let many defects get to the testing phases.  There should be solid mechanisms like good requirements management combined with short term and long term product objectives and vision. In Agile development, requirement management is based on adaptability and collaboration, it also has embedded the notion of fail early indicating that it is okay to have few defects in the initial stages of sprints that can be managed to almost nil defects during the final sprints.

Endurance means conviction for the long term vision.
