Timeless Management Wisdom

Idhanai Idhanal Ivan Mudikkum Endraindu

Adhanai avankan vidal

Loosely translates to

This Work, Using This tool, This man shall accomplish hence having analyzed

Delegate that work to him.

The detailed translation:

After having analyzed and considered The Right Person for the Right Job applying the Right Tool, delegate that job to that person to complete it. Most importantly it continues to say leave him alone without micromanagement.

Does 5Ms sound familiar!

This is complied in his work called Tirukkural by the great Tiruvalluvar an Indian philosopher 2000 years ago.

Stunning revelations indeed and practical 21st century Management wisdom.

What an awesome thought on practical Management fitting perfectly for the present day world even after 2000 years.

What makes one wonder is how is that Tool, Competence, Fitness(Right Job), Delegation, Decentralized manner of work (not micromanage) , Data Analysis all that were given out in a sweeping couplet by this great thinker.

This great philosopher has authored 1330 couplets under 133 chapters in different categories covering all aspects of life and governance

Long live the timeless Wisdom.
